Beyoncé and Solange came together to celebrate their mother, Tina Knowles, as she was honored as one of Glamour’s Women of the Year, and the tribute was as heartfelt as it gets.
In a video tribute, Solange shared,
“My mom inspires me by being a powerhouse.”
She added,
“She is the best grandmother and the epitome of a woman with so much nuance.”
Kelly Rowland also spoke on Tina Knowles’ nurturing spirit, saying,
“My Mama T inspires me every day to be just as nurturing and fun as she is.”
However, it was Beyoncé’s words that had everyone talking:

She also said,
“She’s going to always give love—a gentle, firm love that’s always honest and always wants the best for you.”
While being honored, Tina Knowles got emotional, saying,
“My daughters have brought me such incredible joy and pride in my life far more than anything else. They are my crew, my tribe, my rocks, my ride or dies.”
She continued,
“What I’m most proud of is the human beings that they are… how they have managed to stay humble, grounded, generous, gracious, and kind.”
