Cynthia Erivo Slams ‘Deeply Hurtful’ Edits Of ‘Wicked’ Poster & Viral Al Video Of Her Fighting w/ Co-Star Ariana Grande
Wicked star Cynthia Erivo is firing back at internet trolls.
The 37-year-old took to her Instagram stories earlier today (October 15th) with a reality check for all the people who have been editing and circulating fake promotional posters for the movie and those creating fake videos of her fighting her co-star Ariana Grande.
Cynthia Erivo wrote in the post:
“This is the wildest, most offensive thing I have seen equal to that awful AI of us fighting, equal to people posing the the question ‘is your p***y green?”
She added:
“None of this is funny. None of it is cute. It degrades me. It degrades us. …Our poster is an homage not an imitation, to edit my face and hide my eyes is to erase me. And that is just deeply hurtful.”

Erivo also shared an image of the original poster for clarity.
