Kamala Harris Explains Donald Trump Is NOT The Reason Pandemic Stimulus Checks Were Issued: ‘Congress Holds The Purse’

Presidential candidate Kamala Harris is setting the record straight on why many Americans received a stimulus check at the height of the pandemic.

During a newly aired interview with Shannon Sharpe for the retired athlete’s “Club Shay Shay” podcast,  Harris explained that despite his name being on the check you might’ve received, Donald Trump is not the reason it was issued. In fact, Trump was among those initially against the emergency funds being distributed to the public.
