Man Arrested At The U.S. Capitol For Attempting To Enter w/ A Torch & Flare Gun
Police reportedly detained a man at the U.S. Capitol today (November 5th) for trying to enter the building with a torch and a flare gun.
Authorities say the individual smelled of fuel and was carrying the items in his hand during a security screening at the Capitol Visitor Center.

At this time, the man’s identity has not been disclosed and police are still investigating the situation.
Washington authorities are on high alert this election day in light of Donald Trump supporters attacking the government building on Jan. 6, 2021, due to outrage over Trump’s loss.
