Diddy Claims Prosecutors Showed Judge Edited Version Of Cassie Assault Video To Make Him Look Dangerous & Get His Bail Denied
Jailed music mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs says the video of him assaulting ex-girlfriend Casandra ‘Cassie’ Ventura was manipulated by the federal government.
In a recent court motion, the 55-year-old’s attorneys accused prosecutors of submitting an edited version of the incident for the purpose of making him seem more dangerous than he actually is.
The bombshell footage from 2016 showed Diddy brutally attacking then-partner Cassie, 37, and reportedly helpedĀ set the stage for his current indictment on felony sex trafficking charges.

However, Diddy’s lawyers wrote in the motion that prosecutors mischaracterized and concealed critical facts, including allegedly editing the sequence of events, to offer their “most powerful evidence of danger and obstruction” and effectively get his bail denied.
A TMZ report notes that Diddy continues to maintain his innocence, insisting the altercation was nothing more than a “sad glimpse into a decade-long consensual relationship.”
