Angel Reese Responds To Online Troll Criticizing Her Rookie WNBA Performance
Angel Reese got a social media critic all the way together after they tried to shame her about her rookie season performance.
The Chicago Sky player fired back at the naysayer for calling out her apparent struggle to make layups “on the first try,” writing in response:
“do you realize I got drafted 7th in my class while “missing layups” as a ROOKIE shooting 39% on the year & was STILL a all star and that was the worst you’ll ever see me???” or you just laid up with your dog at home hating Adam??”

Despite the user’s remark, reports note that Reese certainly had a record-breaking WNBA debut. The 22-year-old reportedly became the first rookie in league history to record a triple-double, according to ESPN.
Additionally, Reese became the fastest player in league history to score 20 double-doubles, which she accomplished in only 27 games, according to Sports Illustrated.
