Keith Lee is getting candid about his mental health journey and the struggles that came with reaching a major milestone.
During a recent appearance on Club Shay Shay, Keith Lee reflected on the unexpected feelings he experienced after buying his first home. He shared,
“It put me in a pretty deep depression. Survivors guilt, survivors remorse of like feeling like it’s gonna be snatched away. Feeling like yes I have it, but how long do I have it for? It’s definitely trauma. I had to sit and question ‘why am I in this house with my family and with the people that love me and I feel alone?’”
The content creator explained how those feelings stemmed from not believing he deserved the life he had worked for. But everything shifted when he witnessed a joyful moment teaching his daughter to ride a bike in their backyard. That moment helped him embrace his accomplishments and start to feel pride in the life he built for his family.
