Debbie Allen has revealed that there was an offer for “A Different World” spin-off after the show ended in 1993.

Fast forward to years later and, as previously reported, a sequel to the show is currently in development at Netflix. According to reports, the new series will center around Dwayne and Whitley’s daughter as she follows in her parents’ footsteps by attending Hillman College.
