Kamala Harris Laughs At ‘Word Salad’ Moment During Post-Election Speech
Kamala Harris is showing that even the most serious moments can have a bit of humor.
While speaking to a group of young people at Prince George’s Community College in Maryland, the Vice President said, “I ask of you this…that you will not walk away. That you will stay true to your spirit and your sense of purpose. That you will continue to fight for the promise of America.”
She humorously added,
“And I ask you to remember the context in which you exist. Yeah, I did that. Uh huh.”
The Vice President, known for her viral quotes, was referring to a line she previously said that had been critiqued as “word salad.” Rather than shying away from the comment, Kamala Harris embraced it and laughed.
