Fan favorites dominated the coveted list, including the stars of the box-office hit Wicked: Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande. Erivo secured a nomination for Best Lead Actress, while Grande earned a nod for Best Supporting Actress.
This marks Grande’s first-ever Oscar nomination, while Erivo is competing in Lead Actress for the second time. Reports highlight the stiff competition in the category, where Erivo faces industry veterans like Demi Moore.

In the Best Lead Actor category, Colman Domingo received recognition for his powerful performance in the critically acclaimed Sing Sing. Timothée Chalamet also earned a nomination for his portrayal of Bob Dylan in the biopic A Complete Unknown.
Zoe Saldaña, fresh off her Golden Globe win for Emilia Pérez, joins Grande in the Best Supporting Actress race.
The ceremony is set to take place live on March 2nd.
