Washington Commanders QB Jayden Daniels’ Mom Warns Women ‘Trying To Get Their Hooks’ On Her Son: Ain’t Happening
Regina Jackson, the proud and protective mom of Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels, isn’t playing around when it comes to her son’s dating life.
Ahead of the NFC Championship game against the Eagles, a resurfaced clip from the documentary The Money Game on Amazon Prime went viral, showing Jackson hilariously—but seriously—warning women eyeing her son.
When asked about her biggest concern for Jayden, before the Commanders selected him as the No. 2 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, Jackson didn’t hold back, saying:
“Girls. Them girls.”

She added:
“Some girl out here, she’s got a Jayden Daniels wall, and her mama is saying, ‘Hey honey, you’re going to be the one to get ‘em.’ And I know that sounds crazy, but I guarantee there’s someone trying to get their hooks into Jayden Daniels. So thank God he’s got a mama like me, because it ain’t happening.”
Daniels, a Rookie of the Year contender, has been on fire this postseason, leading his team to their first NFC Championship appearance since 1991. After a stunning upset against the Lions, he handed his mom the game ball—proof of their tight bond.
Daniels’ has previously shared that his mother’s fierce loyalty and sharp instincts have been key in keeping his circle drama-free as his career continues to rise. In the clip, the football star couldn’t help but laugh when asked about his mom’s bold declaration to potential suitors, saying:
“I bet she did say something like that.”
