Comedian Lil Rel Howery might have the answers for those struggling with their weight loss goals.
In a newly aired interview with Jennifer Hudson for her self-titled talk series, Lil Rel Howery was asked about his “amazing transformation journey.” The 45-year-old has made headlines a few times about the notable change in his appearance. Sharing how he did it, Howery said,
“It was something very important to me that I’ve been on for the last five years. If I can be transparent, it’s literally when I got rid of drinking that took everything to the next level, honest.”

Howery has previously shut down Ozempic usage rumors. Speaking on what initially sparked his desire to live a healthier life, he told Hudson,
“It started with mental health and going to therapy…I didn’t realize all the things I was doing to hide from very traumatic things that happened in my life that I learned to bury.”
The “Vacation Friends” star added,
“Once I started unpacking all that, I just wanted to be better and have more energy and just feel lighter. … And once I started getting rid of things that were attached to me, that wasn’t just weight just, everything changed.”
