Super Bowl Champ A.J. Brown Visits 10-Year-Old Who Protected Sister From Philadelphia Plane Crash
A.J. Brown is a man of his word.
The Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver visited 10-year-old Andre “Tre” Howard III at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia on February 12, after hearing about his heroic actions during a deadly plane crash on January 31.
Tre was in a car with his father and siblings when the crash occurred in northeast Philadelphia. Despite being injured, he shielded his sister from harm. When Brown heard about Tre’s bravery during Super Bowl 2025, he promised to visit him.

Tre, who had been in a medically induced coma, woke up just in time to watch the Eagles win the Super Bowl. A few days later, Brown kept his promise, arriving with gifts and the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
Tre’s mother, Lashawn “Lala” Hamiel, was touched by the visit, saying,
“Thank you for being a man of your word… You had him smiling from ear to ear and mute. Thank you for everything and bringing that WIN home for ‘TRE’ the world’s greatest SUPERHERO.”
