Jonathan Majors Seemingly Opens Up About How His A$$ault Case Affects His Oscar Chances: ‘It’s A Wrap’
Jonathan Majors is opening up about the fallout from his a$$ault case and how it has impacted his career, particularly his chances of winning an Academy Award for his film Magazine Dreams.
During an appearance on the Generation Iron Fitness Network, Jonathan shared,
“The sh*t I went through, the way that hit the press, the way I was dragged… it’s a wrap. I’m a part of the Academy. I can tell you right now, it’s not going to happen.”

In December 2023, Jonathan was convicted of misdemeanor a$$ault and harassment after a New York jury found him guilty of a$$aulting his then-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari.
