Ex-Girlfriend Of Former Southern University Football Player Quaydarius Davis Speaks Out After Shocking A$$ault Was Caught On Camera: ‘I’m Not Going Back’

JaYunna Monae is speaking out after disturbing footage surfaced showing former Southern University football player Quaydarius Davis str@ngling her until she lost consciousness.

Davis, 22, was arrested in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Saturday, April 12, and charged with first-degree burglary and domestic ab*se and battery by strangulation. According to police records, Davis was seen on video kicking in JaYunna’s apartment door, entering, and later str@ngling her until she passed out. Deputies say he returned after the a$$ault and took several items from her apartment.

JaYunna took to X to update her followers after the terrifying incident.

“I’m ok, My downstairs neighbors gots cameras, my upstairs neighbors got cameras pointed directly towards my door. Everything is captured… I called the police, my neighbors called the police… I will be pressing charges, and NO I AM NOT GOING BACK. I’m the one who initiated the break up cause so many red flags were occurring.”

In a follow-up tweet, she shared,

“I also went to the hospital, my vessels in my neck is okay, it’s just a couple bruising and my neck is very very very sore!”

Then added:

“THANK GOD IM ALIVE!!! ???? IM SO GRATEFUL!!”

Davis’ bail is set at $25,000.
