Kodak Black Reportedly Pays Rent For Over 200 Residents In Florida Housing Community
Kodak Black is getting major praise for quietly giving back to his community.
Reports say the 27-year-old rapper was recently recognized by a social media user who shared that Kodak has allegedly been paying the rent for over 200 residents in the Golden Acres housing project in Florida. The individual wrote:
“He may not want the limelight, but for the 2nd month straight, Kodak Black has paid the rent for over 200 residents in Golden Acres — the entire projects!”
While it’s unclear whether the person who shared the story lives in or works at the community, this isn’t the first time Kodak has stepped up for families in need.

Back in 2022, Kodak revealed that he paid rent for 28 families facing eviction, even covering several months in advance so they could catch up without pressure.
Though Kodak hasn’t publicly commented on this latest good deed yet, he’s spoken before about wanting to shift his image and be remembered more for his philanthropy than his past controversies. In a 2023 interview, he said:
“People care to be a gangsta, they care for n***as looking at them like they some type of gangsta… I don’t give a f**k about that s**t, you heard me? I don’t live for that. I’m a philanthropist, a good n***a, righteous, all that. I only worry about being a good son and making sure my mom is proud of me. Making sure my family proud of me.”
