Akon says he’s gearing up to re-release all his hits with a country music twist.

TMZ caught up with Akon in NYC this week, where he shared that he has been re-recording his entire discography with a country twist. He also revealed that he’s been lining up features for the last five years to make it happen.

Akon did not share who he is working with just yet, but said the project will begin rolling out sometime next month.
