Wendy Williams Says She’s Being Left In The Dark About Changed Medication, Fears For Her Health
Wendy Williams says she’s “twisting in the wind” over a troubling lack of information about her medical condition.
Speaking exclusively to TMZ, Wendy Williams reveals her thyroid medication—used for Graves’ disease—was recently changed without explanation.
“The nurse came in recently with a different color pill and nobody has said a thing,” she says. Desperate for clarity, she’s been trying “like hell” to find out if her condition has improved or worsened.
Despite multiple attempts, Wendy Williams claims her doctor won’t take her calls, and her guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, hasn’t provided answers either.
“Since Sunday, I’ve been asking my guardian to get in touch with my doctor,” she says, but still, nothing. Confined to the 5th floor of an assisted-living facility she bitterly calls a “luxury prison,” Wendy wonders aloud, “Am I in medical trouble?!?”
As she waits for answers, she sighs, “Welcome to my life.” The whole situation, she says, is “pretty stressful.”
Do you think Wendy will be set free this year?
