Young Thug Avoids Question About His Current Relationship w/ Gunna [VIDEO]
Looks like Young Thug and Gunna are still working through the nature of their relationship.
In an interview with GQ, Thug kept it very vague when asked about the tension between him and his label artist.
After reflecting on the love he has for his artists and how he’s always wanted to help them succeed more than profit off of them, the interviewer brought up the elephant in the room: his current relationship with Gunna.
Both artists were arrested in connection to the now-infamous YSL RICO case in 2022. When asked directly about where things stand with Gunna, Thug said with a slight laugh:
“Yeah, I know everybody’s wondering that.”

When pressed further, Thug simply replied:
“I don’t know.”
Despite their close friendship and successful run as collaborators, things turned rocky after Gunna took a plea deal and was released from jail before Thug. The move sparked controversy online, with many accusing Gunna of “flipping” or cooperating with authorities, claims his legal team has repeatedly denied.
Thug, who was accused of running a criminal enterprise through his YSL label, faced multiple felony charges alongside Gunna and other affiliates tied to gang-related violence in metro Atlanta. Now, both rappers are out, with Thug taking a plea deal of his own last year.
