WNBA Star Skylar Diggins Says She No Longer Wants To Use Husband Daniel Smith’s Last Name [VIDEO]

Skylar Diggins is clearing the air after fans noticed she’s no longer going by “Diggins-Smith.”

When the Seattle Storm released their 2025 training camp roster, the WNBA star was listed as just Skylar Diggins, dropping the “Smith” she previously used due to her marriage to former NFL player Daniel Smith.

Diggins addressed the name change during a press conference, telling a reporter:

“Yes, it does say Skylar Diggins, and I would like to be addressed as that moving forward. Thank you for the question, too.”

She added,

“Thank you guys so much, and as always, my focus is on being a great teammate, adding value to this team on and off the floor and in this community, and as always, being a good mom to my two babies.”
