Charlamagne’s New Production Teams Up w/ Jonathan Majors For New Revenge Thriller ‘True Threat’
Charlamagne Tha God and “John Wick” producer Basil Iwanyk have launched Southland Stories, a new film company spotlighting Southern voices.
Their first project, “True Threat,” is a revenge thriller starring Jonathan Majors, directed and written by Gerard McMurray.
“Films like ‘True Threat’ are exactly why we created Southland Stories,” Charlamagne told ‘Variety’. “It’s vital to show that Black creatives can thrive across all genres.”
The film follows a special forces operative seeking justice after his son is k*lled by gang members.
