Fat Joe Calls Chris Brown’s Arrest Over Alleged Bottle Att@ck A ‘Complete Setup’

Fat Joe is coming to Chris Brown’s defense following the singer’s recent arrest in the UK.

On a new episode of his and Jadakiss’ Joe and Jada podcast, the rapper questioned the timing and nature of the charges:

“This is a complete setup to me. He’s going to Europe to get ready for his tour and they arrest him and leave him in jail with no bail.”

Fat Joe continued,

“Where’s the video? Why can’t I see the video of Chris Brown … hitting the guy with the bottle … The hidden hand is what I’m trying to tell you. Somebody keep f*cking with Chris Brown … everytime he’s trying to elevate … somebody tries to pull him back down.”

For context, Chris Brown was arrested on May 15 in Manchester in connection to an alleged 2023 assault at Tape nightclub. Music producer Abe Diaw claims Brown hit him with a bottle, leaving him hospitalized. The singer was reportedly denied bail.
