Sad News! Engaged Louisiana Couple D*es In Separate Crashes Hours Apart On The Same Road, Leaving Behind Their 4-Year-Old Son
A couple, Alexus Lee and John “JR” Collins, were planning a wedding and a life for their 4-year-old son Gabriel. But in a heartbreaking twist of fate, the engaged couple died within hours of each other in two separate car crashes on the same road.
“I love them and I’m gonna miss both of them,” said JR’s father, Arthur Collins. “And I’m gonna find the strength to go ahead.”
Alexus lost control of her SUV and flipped on Plank Road. JR was on his way to the scene when he crashed into a tree and was ejected. Neither was wearing a seatbelt.
“To know her was to love her,” JR’s mother Sandra said. “Losing Lexus… a part of me gone,” added Alexus’ sister.
Despite the tragedy, their families vow to raise Gabriel together. “We will do whatever it takes to give him a good life,” said Sandra.
