Trump Threatens 25% Tariffs On U.S. iPhones Unless Apple Shifts Production To America
Donald Trump is putting pressure on Apple, threatening a 25% tariff on all iPhones sold in the U.S. unless the company moves production stateside.
In a recent post on Truth Social, he said he previously told Apple CEO Tim Cook that “all Apple iPhones should be MADE IN THE USA,” adding that if not, “a 25% tariff will be imposed.”
The warning is part of a broader trade push that could also hit the EU with a 50% tariff on imports starting June 1. Apple hasn’t responded publicly yet, but reports say this move could cause iPhone prices to jump by hundreds of dollars.
Should Apple bring iPhone production to the U.S.?
