Brian McKnight’s Son Niko McKnight Has Reportedly Passed Away After Cancer Battle
Very sad news out of the McKnight family.
According to his uncle #ClaudeMcKnight, Brian McKnight’s estranged son #NikoMcKnight has passed away after battling cancer. In a TikTok video, Claude said,
“This morning, I found out my nephew, Niko McKnight, has passed away. He’d been bravely battling cancer for the last two years or so, and I have a lot of feelings right now. It really sucks that he’s no longer with us.”

Addressing the longstanding family tension, Claude added,
“I don’t know exactly what was going on there. I know what I’ve seen, I know what I’ve heard from all parties involved… and I try not to judge. I just try to be as loving to each person as I can be, because apparently there was so much hurt going on and a lot of things didn’t get resolved.”
As many know, Niko and #BrianMcKnight were estranged for years, with Niko previously opening up about disturbing childhood memories and Brian referring to his older children as
“products of sin.”
When Niko later tried to mend their relationship, he claimed Brian refused to tell him
“I love you.”
We send our condolences to Niko’s loved ones during this difficult time.
