Elon Musk Walks Back His Donald Trump Comments: ‘They Went Too Far’
Elon Musk is walking back some of his comments about Donald Trump.
“I regret some of my posts about President @realDonaldTrump last week. They went too far,” Musk admitted in a new post on X.
His statement follows a string of claims in which he credited himself for recent Republican victories: “Without me, Trump would have lost the election, Dems would control the House, and the Republicans would be 51-49 in the Senate,” he wrote.
He also accused the GOP of being ungrateful after criticizing a newly passed tax and spending bill, calling it a “disgusting abomination.”
Trump didn’t let it slide. In response, he said he would’ve won Pennsylvania “with or without Elon,” and dismissed the tech billionaire as having “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”
