JoJo Siwa ‘Wasn’t Sure’ How She Felt About Miley Cyrus Poking Fun At Her Relationship w/ New Boyfriend: ‘People Judge No Matter What’
Even Miley Cyrus had something to say about JoJo Siwa’s new relationship.
In a video shown at WorldPride in Washington, D.C. over the weekend, Miley seemingly poked fun at JoJo, who is now dating a guy, saying she was going “back in the closet to find” the Dance Moms alum.

The joke seemed to initially upset JoJo. Addressing the moment in a lengthy IG caption paired with a throwback pic of her Hannah Montana birthday-themed party, she wrote,
“I wasn’t sure how I felt about things for a couple of days… but I’ve started to come to some thoughts…. I don’t believe what Miley said at world pride was ill intended, honestly I think it was meant to be a joke, but just not very good one haha.”

JoJo first came out as a lesbian in 2021 but recently confirmed she is dating influencer Chris Hughes. The two met while they were contestants on Celebrity Big Brother UK.

The relationship announcement sparked backlash online, with some even questioning her sexual identity. JoJo continued her post about Miley, noting she sent the Disney star a message to hash things out, and she replied, “All love. Always.”
JoJo ended her post with:
“People judge no matter what, and it can be very hard, especially when it comes from someone you love, and look up to… but if you feel happy and content with yourself, that’s most important. You get one life… hold onto it, make it yours, find your happy, and love.”
