Late TV Host Ananda Lewis Shared What She Wanted To Be Remembered For In Resurfaced Clip: ‘I Loved This Life & Was Okay w/ Letting It Go’

A resurfaced clip is giving fans a deeper look into how Ananda Lewis viewed her life and legacy.

When asked what she hopes people remember about her, the former MTV VJ said,

“That I loved hard and lived loud, and didn’t back away from problems. I loved this life and was okay with letting it go too. It’s a temporary situation, so do your best. That’s all we’re all doing… our best.”

Lewis passed away this week at 52 after a battle with breast cancer. Her sister confirmed the news on Facebook, writing,

“She’s free, and in His heavenly arms.”

Ananda rose to fame as a VJ in the late ‘90s and later hosted her own show.

Condolences to her family and friends.
