Former NFL Star Adrian Peterson Says He Regrets Poker Fistfight That Was Caught On Camera: ‘We Threw Blows & That Was It’
Adrian Peterson is downplaying his poker fistfight.
The retired NFL star was caught on camera trading punches with another man at JokerStars in Houston on May 27. According to Peterson, the fight, which is now making its rounds on the internet, stemmed from a disagreement during a poker game, and while things got chaotic, he says it wasn’t personal:
“Me and the guy, we’re cool. We’ve known each other. It was literally like a brother situation. We agreed to disagree, we had our words, and we threw blows and that was it.”

The athlete says he “felt really bad” about the incident and admitted he has “regret” about how things went down.
The fight took place just weeks after Peterson was arrested in Minnesota on suspicion of driving while impaired following a Vikings draft party.
