N.O.R.E. Says He Once Wanted Cam’ron To Takeover As Host Of ‘Drink Champs’

Rapper-turned-podcaster N.O.R.E. once envisioned his hit podcast Drink Champs looking very different.

In a recent interview with Bootleg Kev, N.O.R.E. revealed that he previously wanted fellow rapper-turned-podcaster Cam’ron to take over hosting duties on Drink Champs, while he would step back into more of an ownership role. He shared that he was aware Cam was entering the podcast space at the time and thought it could be a natural fit.

However, N.O.R.E. says Cam ultimately “thought how I thought” and chose to build something of his own instead. Today, Cam’ron hosts two successful series, It Is What It Is, co-hosted with Ma$e, and Talk With Flee.
