Teyana Taylor Reveals She Needs Immediate Vocal Surgery After Doctors Find Noncancerous Growth: ‘This Moment Hurts’

The singer and actress just revealed that she’ll be undergoing immediate vocal surgery after doctors discovered a noncancerous growth on one of her vocal cords. She reassured fans that the condition is treatable.

As a result, Teyana shared that she’ll unfortunately have to cancel several upcoming appearances, including a scheduled visit to Michelle Obama’s IMO podcast. She expressed her disappointment, saying the situation “honestly breaks my heart. I don’t take what it means lightly to show up for y’all.”

On a brighter note, Teyana confirmed that her upcoming project, Escape Room, is still set to be released on August 22nd.
