Comedian Aries Spears Says He’s Not A Hater For Expressing Unfavorable Opinions On Celebrities Like Ice Cube, T.I., & 50 Cent
Aries Spears is speaking out about being labeled a “hater” for sharing his honest opinions about celebrities.
On the latest episode of the #oe And Jada Pod, the comedian explained, “This word ‘hate’ is being so overly abused and thrown around now, and unless you have an opinion that’s favorable, you’re a hater.”
He gave an example using past comments on #IceCube, saying, “I gave him his flowers and said, ‘Yes, he’s a pioneer, a trailblazer. I’m just not a fan of his artistry.’”

Spears added, “What I was really speaking to was comedically, acting-wise. A rapper can’t do comedically what a comedian can, because that’s a muscle.”
He expressed similar sentiments about 50 Cent and T.I., who have also explored comedy and acting.
