The case claims Swizz—and related companies—received illicit wire transfers from shell corporations allegedly linked to Low between 2012 and 2014. Judge Naomi Reice Buchwald noted, “None of the transfers were made for any consideration and, as of the filing of the Amended Complaint, none of the funds have been returned.”
Swizz previously returned an Andy Warhol painting connected to Low, but has resisted surrendering the cash. The joint liquidators behind the lawsuit, Angela Barkhouse and Toni Shukla, argue that the funds were accepted without giving anything in return. No further details have been released.
