Last night (Sept. 29), the internet erupted when Nicki threw subtle, but savage, shade by posting and deleting several messages seemingly aimed at Cardi. She tweaked Cardi’s “Magnet” lyrics, dissed her sales, and took shots at her public image.

It wasn’t long until Cardi struck back hard. She coined the nickname “Coca!ne Barbie,” clapped at Nicki’s criticism of her album, and dragged Nicki’s brother into it (referencing his s3xual a$$ault conviction), along with accusations about alleged fertility issues tied to Nicki’s rumored substance use. Fans weighed in, and memes exploded as the war of words spilled across X.
