Kim Kardashian Claims Kanye ‘Never Once Called’ as She Describes ‘Hard’ Co-Parenting
Kim Kardashian is opening up about how emotionally draining it can be to co-parent with her ex-husband Kanye West.
In the latest episode of The Kardashians, the 45-year-old reality star and businesswoman talks candidly about their dynamic during a car ride with Scott Disick. “I’m sorry about all that you’re going through. It looks stressful,” Disick tells her, noting that he sees things about the situation online and reacts like, “F–k.” Kim agrees that it’s “hard,” and explains that what frustrates her most is when West questions her “character as a mom.” She admits, “Sometimes I just feel like snapping, but I can’t. I just can’t.”
Kardashian says she has consistently tried to support “a relationship, but a healthy one” between West and their four children — North, 12, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6 — yet claims the rapper “never once called” despite those efforts.
Later, in a confessional, a producer points out that her “ex is very loud out there.” Kim responds that she refuses to engage with his behavior publicly, saying, “I just can’t really engage. I think it’s just for the better.” She explains that her “only focus and job” is to stay “strong” for her kids and keep their lives as stable as possible. Kardashian has shared similar concerns recently outside the show. During an October episode of Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast, she said it had been “a couple months” since she and the children had heard from West, noting, “Whenever he’ll call for them and ask, it’s probably been a couple months since we’ve heard from him.” She emphasized that the kids live with her full time, but she “welcomes a great, healthy relationship” between them and their father.
