Sherri Shepherd Says She’s ‘Not Going Down Without A Fight’ After Talk Show Canceled
Following Four Seasons
Sherri Shepherd is speaking out after learning her daytime talk show won’t be returning — and she’s making it clear she’s not giving up quietly.
The comedian and host addressed the cancellation of “Sherri”” during an appearance on “TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle,” admitting she’s overwhelmed by the support pouring in.
“The love has been overwhelming,” she said February 17.
Shepherd explained her mission was simple: “I told my staff and crew, the only thing the mandate is we got to give people joy through laughter… And I got to do that for four years.”
Still, she made it clear that she will not be “going down without a fight.”
Earlier this month Shepherd thanked viewers, saying the show “was built on joy.” According to reports, final episodes will air this fall.
