“Love Island” Star JaNa Craig Denies Verbal Abuse Claims From Ex Kenny Rodriguez, Says Legal Threats Stopped Her From Exposing Racist Texts

#JaNaCraig isn’t going down without a fight.

The #LoveIslandUSA season 6 star recently jumped into the comment section on TikTok to defend herself against fresh allegations from her ex, Kenny Rodriguez. Kenny, who now appears on a Hispanic reality show, alluded to his castmates that he was verbally abused by JaNa during their time on LI. He claimed that one heated night of filming, JaNa got in his face and yelled, “You’re a crazy motherf*ker…you met me first…you stupid motherf*cker,” when he showed interest in another girl.

However, fans quickly resurfaced the scene he appeared to reference, and in the clip, JaNa looks emotional but composed, not yelling or using profanity toward him. JaNa also stepped in to set the record straight, writing, “I’ve never cussed him out. Its not even in my character to do so.” She went on to say that legal threats from Kenny kept her from fully explaining why she abruptly ended the relationship.

If you remember, the former lovebirds placed third on their LI season, and everything seemed picture-perfect once filming wrapped. That all changed in late July 2025 when news of their split broke. At first, neither said much, but JaNa’s inner circle hinted that things fell apart after she allegedly discovered racist text messages from Kenny. Adding fuel to the speculation, JaNa’s best friend later posted a message on Instagram urging women to check their partner’s phones for “keywords like ‘I don’t like black women, I thought I could get more money from this, I’m faking this relationship, going on the show would be for clout, I can’t wait to be done w this so I can f*ck hella b*tches.’”
