Teyana Taylor Reassures Fans It’s All Good’ After Being Shoved During Heated Confrontation w/ Oscars Security Guard
We now have a little more insight into what went down between #TeyanaTaylor and the Oscars security team.
Footage of Teyana appearing to exchange heated words with an unidentified person has been making the rounds online. According to reports, the verbal altercation happened shortly after Teyana and her One Battle After Another castmates took the stage to accept their Best Picture statuettes. Allegedly, the man stopped Teyana and put his hands on her following the celebratory moment. In the clip, Teyana can be heard telling the security guard, “You’re a man putting your hands on a female. You’re very rude.” She then added, “He literally shoved me.”
TMZ later caught up with Teyana after the ceremony, and she seemed ready to move past the incident. “It’s all good,” she said. “Everybody was having a good time, and security was just doing a lot.” Making it clear her issue was with one person in particular, she added, “It’s always that one. …At the end of the day, I just don’t tolerate disrespect. Especially when it’s unwarranted and unprovoked.”
