Streamer DeenTheGreat Arrested After Allegedly Hitting A Woman & Trying To Snatch Her Phone
During Yacht Clash
Streamer #DeenTheGreat is trading livestreams for a jail cell for the time being.
The influencer, whose real name is Nurideen Shabazz, was arrested Wednesday morning (May 27) in Miami-Dade County and was processed at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, according to jail records obtained by TMZ. He’s facing a felony charge of robbery/strongarm/attempt, and as of now, his bond has yet to be set.
As for what landed him behind bars, cops say the situation unfolded after a woman accused Deen of trying to snatch her phone following a heated encounter on a yacht. According to the police report, the woman claimed Deen kicked her off the boat, then grabbed her forearm and attempted to take her phone — leaving a minor scratch in the process.
Things didn’t stop there either. Authorities say video footage from the scene allegedly shows Deen yelling for someone to grab the woman’s phone and keep her from recording, while also putting his hands on her multiple times as she tried to get away.
The case is still developing, but for now, Deen’s dealing with some serious legal trouble.
