[New Music] Wale Snags Rihanna for ‘BAD’ Remix
Owwww! Rihanna replaces Tiara Thomas’ vocals on Wale’s hit single ‘BAD‘. The original version, penned by Tiara, was inspired by Trillville. In an interview, she explained:
There was this rap song called ‘Some Cut’ by Trillville. It used to be one of my favorite songs when I was younger. It’s really vulgar. I wanted to find a way to cover the song and make it sound pretty. I started singing the words and then I just freestyled and started singing. I was like, ‘Dang, that’s tight!
Fast forward to the present day and Wale has snagged his good friend, Ri Ri, for the track, getting the Barbados native to even rhyme a bit on the track. Check it out.
