Beyonce Writes How Proud She Is Of Serena Williams’ Win: ‘Stunt On Them Serena’
Apparently, we aren’t the only ones proud of Serena Williams’ win. Over the weekend, the 31-year-old tennis champ beat Maria Sharapova in straight sets, winning 6-4, 6-4, to clinch this year’s French Open. Pretty dope, right? Now, Serena has 16 major singles championships, along with 13 doubles and two mixed doubles titles.
According to Deadspin, since last year’s French Open, she’s won singles titles at Wimbledon, at last year’s London Olympics, the US Open and the WTA Championships. After her win, Beyonce went to her site, showing a personal note to her.
Stunt on them Serena. 31 and in your prime. You have no idea how much you inspire us al of us women. I’m so proud of you. All of my love and respect. Beyonce.
Sweet.
