Lamar Odom Speaks Out for the First Time Since Addiction Reports, Blames Father For His Demons
Since reports hit about Lamar Odom’s alleged drug addiction, the NBA baller has remained relatively quiet. His last tweet was this past July and aside from a few appearances running errands, the Queens native, along with his wife (Khloe) and the Kardashian clan have remained mum–until now. Tuesday evening, Lamar broke his twitter silence, addressing his biological father head-on. He wrote:
Seeing the snakes…Won’t continue 2 speak on this but I have got 2 let this out real quick. I have let this man and many others get away with a lot of shit. He wasn’t there 2 raise me. He was absent ALL of my life due to his own demons. My mother and grandmother raised me. Queens raised me. For the first time since they left, came a blessing of a FAMILY that I married into. FAMILY. That man wasn’t even invited to my wedding. He has never met my mother in law and some of my other family. How can a man who has NOT once called me to check on my well being have the nerve to talk so recklessly about his own “son”. He is my downfall! His own demons may be the ONLY thing he gave 2 me. He disrespecting the ONLY FAMILY that has loved me without expecting anything in return. They are the ONLY ones that have been here consistently 4 me during this dark time. Only person 2 blame is myself. Say what you want about me but leave the ones who have done nothing but protect and love me out of this! This goes to out to everyone!
So where does this rant stem from? Earlier today, Radar Online reported that Lamar’s father, Joe, blames Lamar’s in-laws for his downward spiral. In short, he claims the Kardashian’s ruined his basketball career; put too much pressure on him by putting him on the family’s reality show; and called Kris Jenner an ‘evil b*tch’. Eek!

I can see that….
I know right!
I am glad that he spoke out. He said it best he has some demons in him that was passed down (it’s called generation curse). I hope Lamar is really getting help and I commend Khloe for sticking by his side and not leaving when times got hard. Praying for full recovery for Lamar.
say what you want about the Kardashians, one thing is for sure…Khloe loves that man. She rides hard for him. Much respect.
It’s interesting to me that he’s talking so much about family and the Kardashians being the ONLY people there for him w/out wanting anything in return when he left the girl he was with from high school (way before the money etc.) and the 3 kids they made together in their ten year relationship. That’s not shade it really is just very strange to me.
*CORRECTION* 2 kids, sadly their second son died of SIDS at six months old.
