[VIDEO] RHOAs Kenya Moore Says Christopher Williams Assaulted Her, Kandi Apologizes For ‘Ratchet’ Moment + Watch Episode
The drama picked up exactly where it left off, during Sunday night’s episode of the Real Housewives of Atlanta. The aftermath of the ‘Pillow Talk‘ brawl, coupled with a near physical altercation between Kandi Burruss and Cynthia Bailey’s hubby and sister had viewers both entertained and shocked. And per usual, the interesting conversation took place on Twitter, between cast mates.
Kandi admitted that she was highly upset, but regretted having a ‘ratchet’ moment while the cameras were rolling. She tweeted:
LOL! @todd167 said he stopped me from tagging her ass because my boobs would’ve popped out! That outfit was not good for being ratchet in…
She admitted that being approached in a aggressive manner triggered here:
I never said I would kill her.Cynthia is exaggerating.I said I would drag they a**. At the time I meant it,but I felt bad later…I know we’re suppose 2 have self control as we get older but Im not down 4 people walkin all up on me being all aggressive pointin n my face…I also feel like if you’re breaking up an argument you should hold back your own people not pushing the people you’re arguing with…
Cynthia tweeted her thoughts, writing:
Women fighting women is never a good look????#sad … I don’t promote violence of any kind????Intelligent people talk & move on????#notthatserious … 1 minute people r so turned off about us fighting. Then it’s yeah girl you should have kicked her a**! #bye
Meanwhile, the debate over Kenya Moore’s involvement in the altercation continues. During the episode she notes that Christopher Williams assaulted her and grabbed her arm during the incident:
Wow so @kandi can be justified 4 being upset bc some1 touched her but no one can see it was my same argument? Wow these girls #RHOA…How can someone charge someone in 6 inch heels? I casually walked… And how is every girl making jokes out of the situation? #RHOA…Cameras don’t lie! He grabbed my arm and tried to snatch me up! #Imdone
She, along with Wayne Brady, later appeared on Andy Cohen’s ‘Watch What Happens Live!‘, where she addressed her now non-existent relationship with NeNe Leakes. She admitted that she’s disappointed in the two no longer being friends, but thinks it stems out of jealous.
She shared:
I don’t back down on her. I came in last season, when I felt like she had moved on from the show…I think she views me as her replacement. I think that is causing her to flip on me…because she doesn’t have the Hollywood jobs anymore. I can’t help but be fabulous. It’s who I am….We all have blessings coming our way and you can’t go out of your way to sabotage people….It was more to it. This is a woman I consider to be my friend…I spent Thanksgiving with her…I was a NeNe fan. We were very friendly and I was happy with the way our friendship was developing.

This was just a big mess & not a good look for the “elite/classy” adult people that they’re supposed to be portraying. They can act bougie all they want but what it really shows is their true background and inner selves. Something tells me that it wasn’t entirely scripted, if at all. So if and on that note, they are human but being on TV should’ve exerted some dignity & self control and addressed that off camera. Not sure about the NeNe/Kenya jealousy thing…she could be, afterall, she did steal a little shine? I think Kenya is a narcissistic troublemaker & a lil bit crazy tho!
I agree with you 100%!! I have been saying this for some tim. Kenya has issues and they are deep. Number one she is childless and has never ben married and wants both so badly. She also has those issues with her mother not wanting and acknowledging her. She has so many problems in her own life she creates ugliness in every one elses. Which is really sad. Everyone is not mentioning her on medication for nothing.
Although Kenya is usually the messy drama starting one…in this incident I do think Nene is to blame on this one. She set the tone for that entire evening and although everyo is grown and responsible for their own actions I do think she needs to take some blame. Kenya did what any woman would have done…which is stand up while some man is literally talking down to her and proceed to start talking to the wife. I dont think Christopher meant any harm by trying to hold her back because for all he knew she could have been trying to attack his wife. But again, if I’m already upset and then you pull me away as Christopher did I would have reacted lie Kenya did too lol. I’m not jusifying anyones behavior but I can see how things escalated to the point of ratchetness lol.
Ok, I said I wasn’t gonna say anything because I am really tired already of this episode.
I still say Kenya is not the one to fault on this. First Christopher should have not got out of his seat to address Kenya. Second, Kenya did get up BUT keep in mind that Christopher was already up so why would she continue to sit there when this man was already up. She did not know what he was going to do. Yes she did charge across the room and YES CHRISTOPHER DID PULL HER BACK. He shouldn’t have put his hands on her because that is what started it. Third, her friend Brandon had every RIGHT to come to her defense because Christopher is a man and he had know right putting his hand on her. Fourth, NeNe is to blame for all of this because the questions NeNe was asking where questions that was going to start trouble. NeNe is acting like she didn’t have anything to do with this but she did and she wanted all of this. NeNe wanted to end on a good note with Bravo to secure her spot for next season so what better way then to get everybody together and start some mess with them. Fifth, Cynthia had no right coming up in Kandi face because Kandi was sitting down when she asked the question being civilized and she asked Christopher wife the question NOT CYNTHIA…Cynthia was WRONG! Cynthia is the one that started that mess right there. Then Cynthia sister has her nerves to push Kandi…NO NO NO sister you need to get yo sister because Todd had Kandi. Then Peter gon tell Todd he know the rules…WHAT DAMN RULES…ya’ll all ain’t gonna charge my girl. Good for Todd stepping in for Kandi. Sixth, I am mad at Kandi because she should not have apologized to Cynthia. If Kandi wanted to apologize she should have apologized to the other women “saying I apologize for letting someone take me out of character” then Cynthia should have apologized for charging towards Kandi and putting her hands all in that girl face. Cynthia got balls because her sister was there but just a few weeks ago NeNe had her running to the room crying and if I remember well Kandi was the one that came to her defense telling NeNe she was a little hoarse on Cynthia.
Cynthia was wrong as well as her sister on this episode and I STILL SAY NENE STARTED ALL OF THIS. People need to understand that it went the way that NeNe wanted it to go…NeNe love mess at other people expense. They all acted a fool because of what she started. I am glad that Porsha left and the other people did not get involved.
Ohhh and I did not like how Carmen throw her little jab at Ms. Joyce. Ms. Joyce name should have been left out of all this. Now if she come back for Carmen…Carmen got to take it like a woman because she brought her in it.
Just in case someone’s wondering, we’re tired of writing about this…but it seems to get readers pretty fired up about who was in the wrong. This won’t be the only conflict on the show. To be continued.
Christopher did not get up to address Kenya, he got up to read his question on Nene’s card. I agree with you that Nene stirred this mess up, she knew exactly what she was doing.
Christopher did address Kenya while he was up there. Either he had every intention of addressing her in that manner or Nene’s question for him involved their issue so instead of reading subliminal question he decided to just come right out and say it. I do feel everyone played a part in this and just about everyone has their hands dirty. Way to boost ratings Bravo

I agree,this issue should be done.But,I would like to make a point.I know a lot of u hate NeNe,we get that.But,if you watch the two episodes before that one.You will see that Kenya started this whole situation.She started something between Cynthia and her sister,she told Chris’s woman that he said they weren’t married.During that same conversation she brought up Chris’s girl and Cynthia’ s conversation about Todd to Candy’ s attention.By the time the get together started she had already created a big mess.
