Nas’ Daughter & Baby Mama Almost Joined Love & Hip Hop Atlanta
Turns out, Destiny Jones, the daughter of famous rapper Nas, was 2.5 seconds away from doing reality TV. In fact, she and her mother Carmen, almost took their talents to VH1’s Love & Hip Hop Atlanta. In an interview with Mara the Socialite, she explains why the two decided against airing their lives out for the cameras. Destiny also opens up about the relationship she and her parents have. ON THE POSSIBILITY OF HER DOING REALITY TV, AND THE REALITY SHOW SHE AUDITIONED FOR:
When I was seventeen, ‘Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta’ actually did reach out to me, and I definitely did do an interview with them. ‘Cause I never one hundred percent say no, I’m only like, ‘Let me see what this is about before I say no’. So that definitely is not my speed – that type of reality TV, even though it’s entertaining to me, and I do watch it every week. I used to say, ‘Never, I’ll never do reality TV’, but now I’m like, you know, ‘Never say never,’ you know. You never know what the future will hold.
