[INTERVIEW] Keisha Epps Talks Girl Power, Pursuing Acting & Whether ‘Total’ Will Reunite
Keisha Epps is all about positivity and girl power, especially when it comes to friends in her close circle. theJasmineBRAND.com correspondent Trene Todd, recently caught up with her at Keyshia Cole’s ‘All In’ screening and she echoed those exact sentiments. The R&B songstress, who is best known for being a part of Bad Boy Records & the 90’s R&B group Total, knows a thing or two about being in the limelight and have people judge your every move.
Epps, who is also part of a very public marriage to her husband, actor Omar Epps, has been very good at staying away from the drama. Peep a few excerpts of our conversation.
Her thoughts on Keyshia Cole’s new reality show:
I’m looking for a great outcome I’m cheering for Keyshia [Cole] and her family. I think it’s just brave of her to put her life out there and share it for the world; it’s a very scary place to be. People are very judgmental nowadays, I’m hoping for peace in her family.
Keisha, who is very public about sharing her sisterly bond she has with her other sister in song R&B artist Brandy, gives her thoughts and recipes she values as support to her girlfriends.
