Walter Scott’s Mother Forgives Officer That Shot Her Unarmed Son [VIDEO]
Judy Scott, the mother of Walter Scott, the man who was unarmed and shot 8 times by a South Carolina police officer (click here for the backstory), is speaking out. This week, she did an interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper explaining that she’s leaning on God through this difficult time.
The lord is my strength.
Despite reports that Scott had a scuffle with the officer before he was shot, Judy does not believe this theory.
He knows how the North Charleston police officers conduct themselves. He would never jeopardize his life.
She adds:
The policemen are supposed to protect the people, not try to frame them or get out of what they’ve done wrong. They’re supposed to be honest people. Protecting.
