DeVon Franklin is standing by his wife Meagan Good, in the face of those who continue to criticize her attire on and off the red carpet. As you know, the two, who married in 2012, both work in the entertainment industry. Meagan as an actress and DeVon as author, film producer and author. And outside of Hollywood, the two are known in the religious sector, with DeVon being a minister.

If you’ve followed this couple, you’re quite aware that there has been a bit of controversy surrounding Meagan’s attire. During a conversation at a panel on love and marriage in New Orleans, the couple spoke openly about all of the discussion surrounding something that they consider is not an issue.

Meagan explains:

It kind of made me upset with the church for a while. People don’t know what they do, but you have to love them regardless. But you have to own your truth.
