Dr. Dre Announces New Album, ‘Compton A Soundtrack By Dr. Dre’
The wait is FINALLY over! Over the weekend, super producer/music mogul Dr. Dre (real nameAndre Romelle Young) has announced plans to release his album. This will be the 50-year-old’s his first album in 15 years.
The album, “Compton a Soundtrack by Dr. Dre” will be released Aug. 7. He shared the news on Instagram (below).:
Dre also discussed the new album on his Beats 1 radio show The Pharmacy, stating Straight Outta Compton was his inspiration:
I felt myself being so inspired by the movie that I started to record an album. I kept it under wraps. The album is finished and will feature guests including Cube, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem and Snoop Dogg. It’s going to be my grand finale. The record is bananas.”
