Actress Thandie Newton Calls Starbucks Racist [Photo]
Starbucks has a new controversy on its hands. Actress Thandie Newton recently took to Twitter, sharing that she was offended by a black figure offering Colombian coffee beans at Starbucks. Apparently, the Mission Impossible II actress was at a Starbucks in central London. Newton tweeted and posted a photo the figure writing:

The chain replied,
@thandienewton we are very concerned to learn of this incident & we can’t apologise enough. We have removed the figure & are investigating.

I don’t really think it was meant to imply that the child was black.I think it was just a statue of a child.I don’t see how it would’ve looked right in any other color.Just my opinion,I’m usually the first to point out that something is racial.I don’t see that here.
