Adele, Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd Are Performing At Grammy’s
Kendrick Lamar, Little Big Town, The Weeknd, and Adele are the first performers announced for the 58th GRAMMY Awards. Little Big Town and The Weeknd will be making their GRAMMY stage debuts. A special tribute to 2016 MusiCares Person of the Year Lionel Richie will highlight the GRAMMY winner’s wide-ranging career. Additional performers will be announced shortly.
This year’s top GRAMMY nominee with 11, Lamar is up for Album Of The Year and Best Rap Album for To Pimp A Butterfly; Song Of The Year and Best Rap Performance for “Alright”; Best Rap Song for “All Day” and “Alright”; Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Bad Blood” (with Taylor Swift); Best Music Video for “Alright” and “Bad Blood”; Best Dance Recording for “Never Catch Me” (with Flying Lotus); and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for “These Walls.”
Little Big Town are nominated for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “Girl Crush”; and Best Country Album for Pain Killer.
One of this year’s most nominated artists, The Weeknd received seven nominations: Record Of The Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for “Can’t Feel My Face”; Album Of The Year and Best Urban Contemporary Album for Beauty Behind The Madness; and Best R&B Performance, Best R&B Song and Best Song Written For Visual Media for “Earned It (Fifty Shades Of Grey).”
Returning to the GRAMMY stage after four years, Adele will perform a track from her chart-topping album, 25.
Two-time GRAMMY winner LL Cool J will host the 58th Annual GRAMMY Awards. The show will be broadcast live in HDTV and 5.1 surround sound on CBS on Monday, Feb. 15 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
